Grand Marshalls Choice
GRAND ISLAND, NE – October 15th, 2019 – Amur Equipment Finance (AmurEF) won First Place prize in the business class for the company’s float entry in this year’s Harvest of Harmony parade. AmurEF’s float was further recognized by being named Grand Marshall’s Choice. The annual parade began in 1938 and has become one of the most anticipated events of the year. Organized by the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce, the Harvest of Harmony parade boasts over 200 groups, including on average, 75 marching bands from around the state participating in the event.

Many long hours are spent designing and building the float, so it goes without saying that this recognition is truly special to our entire team.”
In 1996, the Harvest of Harmony parade set a Guinness Book world record for the most marching bands in a parade – 130 to be exact. AmurEF’s float entry won first place prize in 2017 and runner up in 2018.
