And what do they look forward to doing when the leave the office? In our monthly Employee Spotlight series, you’ll get to know the answers for these questions – and more.
For the month of April, we introduce Stephanie Plate, Sales Coordinator.
Employee of the Month Interview
What do you do here at AmurEF? I am the Retail Sales Coordinator for the West Team.
How did you get into that field? I was looking for a new challenge and something different from what I had been doing. Before coming to AmurEF, I was the Strategic Resource Manager for a trucking company. I had worked in the transportation industry in some capacity for over 20 years. I was looking for something different, yet I like being part of a team and working with others and thought that AmurEF might be a good fit for me.
What do you love most about AmurEF? The people and the atmosphere.
What’s the first thing you do when you get off work? After work, I go home and spend time with my Shichon dog, Finn.
What do you like to do in your spare time? In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to watch a variety of sports and attend sporting events and concerts.
Where’s your favorite place in the world? Switzerland.
If you could be any fictional character, who would you choose? Atticus Finch
If you could learn to do anything, what would it be? Play the piano
How do you define success? My definition of success is striving to be the best version of myself every day, helping others to be the best they can be, and, ultimately, making a difference in someone’s life.
What’s the most rewarding thing about your job? Being part of a team, seeing someone close a deal they have worked really hard on and working together toward common goals.

Stephanie is the AmurEF Employee of the Month for February. She was nominated for her consistently fun attitude, dedication to teamwork and team spirit, self-starting initiative, as well as maintaining a customer-centric approach to her responsibilities.
Stephanie’s team feels completely supported in every aspect of the transaction cycle. She understands the common goals, and her attention to those goals keeps even the smallest detailed matter on schedule. She takes the initiative to learn when she does not have experience on a matter, and actively looks for ways to enhance both customer facing and internal experiences. Stephanie has earned amazing reviews from everyone on her team, who unanimously feel truly blessed to work with such a professional.
Particularly in February, Stephanie managed a large number of deals, with attention to detail throughout the month. If ever there was a question, she knew exactly where a file was in its lifeline and what was needed to move it along. Stephanie had no issues logging long hours on the last day to move every last deal that could be pushed across the line.
Rachel Trainer is the Digital Marketing Coordinator at Amur Equipment Finance. In this role, Rachel creates a compelling online customer experience through social media, emails, and website content.
